The Austin D. Amos, Jr. Hall of Fame Award was first established in 1988 in the memory of its namesake. The Hall of Fame Award is bestowed upon those nominees that represent the honor and integrity of selfless service to the Association, its member companies, and other emergency services organizations across the state. Honorees must have demonstrated exceptional leadership, distinguished service, and significant contributions to the Association and its members during their life of service. Inductees to the Hall of Fame may be nominated by a company or by a member of the Hall of Fame Committee and are installed annually in the Spring of each year.
